What is Egg Cakes?
Egg Cakes (雞蛋糕) is one of Taiwan’s popular desserts, found in Taipei, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung and all over Taiwan. Small, fluffy sponge cakes baked in cute molds shaped like chicks, fish or animals, sometimes filled with custard or chocolate. Best eaten warm.
