What is Wheel Cakes?

Wheel Cakes (車輪餅) is one of Taiwan’s popular desserts, found in Taipei, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung and all over Taiwan. Thick, round griddle cakes filled with sweet red bean or custard, or savory fillings like radish or cheese. Crispy edges and a soft, hot filling. Also called 紅豆餅.
