What is Sour Plum Soup?
Sour Plum Soup (酸梅湯) is one of Taiwan’s popular drinks, found in Taipei, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung and all over Taiwan. A sweet and sour drink made from smoked plums, hawthorn, licorice and osmanthus, served cold. Refreshing, and great with spicy or oily food.
