What is Fried Dough?

Fried Dough (油條) is one of Taiwan’s popular breakfast foods. A long, golden stick of deep-fried dough, crispy outside and airy inside. It is dipped in warm soy milk, wrapped in a rice ball or sesame flatbread, or added to congee — a classic part of a traditional Taiwanese breakfast.
