What is Sausage with Sticky Rice?
Sausage with Sticky Rice (大腸包小腸) is one of Taiwan’s popular snacks, found in Taipei, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung and all over Taiwan. A grilled Taiwanese pork sausage tucked inside a larger grilled sticky rice sausage, like a hot dog with a rice bun, then topped with garlic, pickled vegetables, basil and sauce. The Chinese name means “big sausage wraps small sausage.”
