What is Saltwater Chicken?
Saltwater Chicken (鹽水雞) is one of Taiwan’s popular snacks, found in Taipei, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung and all over Taiwan. Chilled poached chicken tossed with your choice of vegetables, tofu and mushrooms in a garlicky, peppery dressing with green onion. A light, cold alternative to fried snacks.
