What is Sweet Potato Balls?
Sweet Potato Balls (地瓜球) is one of Taiwan’s popular night market snacks. Small balls of sweet potato and tapioca dough, fried and pressed again and again so they puff up hollow inside. Crispy outside and chewy inside, sometimes dusted with plum powder. A fun snack to share while walking around a night market.
