What is Radish Cake?

Radish Cake (蘿蔔糕) is one of Taiwan’s popular snacks, found in Taipei, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung and all over Taiwan. A savory cake of rice flour and shredded white radish, sliced and pan-fried until crispy outside and soft inside. Eaten with soy paste or chili sauce, often with a fried egg for breakfast.
