What is Pork Thick Soup?

Pork Thick Soup (肉羹湯) is one of Taiwan’s popular hot pots and soups, found in Taipei, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung and all over Taiwan. Strips of pork coated in fish paste, cooked in a thick, slightly sweet broth with bamboo shoots, cabbage and mushroom, finished with black vinegar and basil or cilantro.
