What is Sesame Oil Chicken?
Sesame Oil Chicken (麻油雞) is one of Taiwan’s popular hot pots and soups. A warming soup of chicken pieces cooked in plenty of dark sesame oil, old ginger and rice wine. It is a traditional winter comfort food in Taiwan. The rice wine is cooked, but the soup can still contain some alcohol.
