What is Pork Knuckle Rice?

Pork Knuckle Rice (豬腳飯) is one of Taiwan’s popular rice and braised dishes, found in Taipei, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung and all over Taiwan. Rice topped with pork knuckle braised in soy sauce until the skin is soft and sticky and the meat is tender, usually with pickled mustard greens and a braised egg. Rich and filling.
