What is Four Herb Soup?
Four Herb Soup (四神湯) is one of Taiwan’s popular hot pots and soups, found in Taipei, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung and all over Taiwan. A mild herbal soup of pork intestine simmered with Chinese yam, lotus seeds, Job’s tears and poria, often finished with a splash of rice wine. Light and soothing.
